About Objet Insolite
Objet Insolite are based in Paris with a workshop in Normandy.
The company was founded in 1996 by Augustin Granet the son of the famous sculptress Roseline Granet.
Many of the designs reflect this heritage as well as that of Brancusi and Giacometti.
Their designs are cast in bronze with patinated, gilded, verdigris or nickel finishes.
Their proportions allow them to be used in traditional or modern settings.  Some have architectural qualities, whilst others are whimsical and amusing.
